30 Day Coloring Challenge Day 17

I have another card today for my entry for Day 17 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.  I colored a birthday cupcake for my niece, my nephew's wife.  This card is late, but it will get to her soon, I promise. The cupcake is a Cricut cut from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge with coordinating stamp. In addition to coloring the cupcake with my Spectrum Noirs, I inked through a stencil to create the background panel.  I added a sentiment and side border in addition to putting some WOS on the frosting to complete the card.

The days coloring just fly by, I tell you.  Have you been able to enter and play along with Kathy R and the rest of us?

Cardstock:  Recollections 110 lb
Ink:  Close to My Heart Blush, Memento Rich Cocoa
Stamps:  Close to My Heart
Border:  K & Company
Spectrum Noir Markers:  PP1 & 2, TB1
Stencil:  Heidi Swapp

  6. I've always loved this cupcake and haven't used it near enough Sheila, but I l love how your card turned out using it! It looks great and you have colored it so well. I know your niece will love it and it will be well worth being late! I'm always a dollar short and a day late myself!! lol Hugs, Brenda
