Plaid Christmas Card

Christmas is in two days!  I managed to get all my Christmas cards done.  I usually don't follow trends in terms of new stamps, but something about all the plaids I'm seeing really made me want a plaid stamp.  I am so glad I purchased it.  I can see myself using it a lot.  Here's my card:

It's hard to tell in the picture, but the tree is spritzed with a shimmer mist.  It looks really pretty in real life. I embossed the background, mounted the embossed panel on a white card base, and added a die cut star and sentiment.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #316 - Christmas

Welcome to the Christmas theme at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!  I used a cartridge that I have literally had for years without ever having made a card.  It's especially fun because you can cut card bases and envelopes in addition to holiday images.  I really should have used this cartridge a long time ago.  Do you have any unused cartridges?  If so, don't delay - use them!

613 Avenue Create #204-Anything Goes-ATG-Option Christmas/Winter

Hello! So, December is here which means winter and Christmas. At 613 Avenue Create this month, in addition to Anything Goes, we'd like to see some Christmas and Winter projects. I made this card using a very, very old stamp set from Close to My Heart.  As you can see, the images are solid.  I had no success in stamping this set in the past.  It was just too hard for me to get it to stamp clearly. So this beautiful set was unused in my collection for literally years.  But now I have a MISTI so I thought I'd give it a try.  I am so happy with the result. Cards like this are not new, but it's the first time I've been able to make one.  Yay for my MISTI!

This is the card we're sending out this year, so I made it in bulk. I don't have that many to make, only about 25, so I don't get bored with the design. I do make some other Christmas cards here and there during the year, but I concentrate on a single card design when I really get down to making holiday cards for family and friends. It makes my life much easier to do it this way.  Do you make one design or many for Christmas?
