Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #304-Patriotism

Welcome to another challenge at FFCB.  Our theme this time is Patriotism.  We want to see your project about patriotism in any country.  Our design team has been hard at work, creating some delightful inspiration for you.

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here's my project:

I used my Cricut Expression to cut the balloons in red, white and blue.  They are popped up with foam tape and have a coating of clear Wink of Stella which is sort of visible in this picture.  I love the curly tails on the balloons.  The blue looks a bit purple in this photo, I have to say, but it is blue.

It reminds me of the 4th of July, of course. This is a quick and easy just for fun card, no stamping involved -  just DP and Cricut cuts. Sometimes, that's all you need!

613 Avenue Create #198 Anything Goes-Option Stamp with an Embossing Folder

This month at 613 Avenue Create we're challenging you to stamp with an embossing folder on your project. That's a fun technique that I haven't done in a while.  I remember being afraid to "mess up" my embossing folder when I was a newbie and heard about this delightful technique.  Of course, your embossing folder is fine, as I found out.  This is a great way to create your own colorful designer paper.  So here's my card:

You'll want to see the amazing inspiration from our Design Team.  And don't forget, you might have won last month's challenge.

We want to see what you come up with. Drop by and link up your creation.

Card Stock:  Recollections 110 lb and 60 lb
Ink:  Close to My Heart Gypsy
Embossing Folder:  Sizzix Uknown
