Yippee!!! This is the final day of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I made it through!! It was both easier and harder than I thought it would be. I still have a lot to learn about coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers, but I've learned that I learn best through using them. How about that?! There are definitely some color combos that I need to work on blending. The lighter shades are easier than the dark ones. I know paper matters greatly. So do inks. And, of course, I need new and more stamps to color - LOL!!
I discovered this darling free digital image of peeps for Easter (here). I have wanted a stamp of peeps for ages, and somehow never got around to ordering one. I added the bow tie. It's from a Waffle Flower set called Congrats.
I am so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone to take part in Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I had my ups and downs, but overall I truly enjoyed it. I do feel that my skills are improving. I'm determined to keep getting better.
Thanks for visiting!
Yay, you did it Sheila!!!! I know it was fun, but also a challenge as well for you. But you did it and I'm so proud of you! You are right in that the best way to learn how to color with your markers is to use them. I find that to be very true in a lot of things. I also think to that your coloring has really improved. I always thought you colored well to begin with but as this challenge went on, I saw a difference in your coloring and all for the good! I love these peeps, they are so cute and you have blended so well with your markers. I also agree that paper makes a difference too in coloring and some shades blend easier than others. It's all a learning process and to learn you got to do! lol You did awesome my friend! Hugs, Brenda
