Hello Crafty Friends! This week at 613 Avenue Create we have no twist - we're just plain Anything Goes. Our sponsors are DI's Digi Stamps and Bugaboo Stamps. I used an image from Bugaboo called Frame It - Red Wine. Here's my card:
I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers - DR5, DR3, CR6, and a bit of PP5. I used JG6 for the leaves. I lightly chalked the background. The wine glass and grapes have a coating of Clear Wink of Stella. I added a die cut from Impression Obsessions, snipping a bit from a second cut and adding it to the side of the image. Sequins from my stash provided the final touch. The cardstock is Recollections 110 lb.
I'm entering a few challenges: Spectrum Noir March Challenge - Show Us Your Sparkle; Crafting with Friends #17 - Anything Goes; and Crafty Girls Creations #17 - Anything Goes.
Have a great day!

613 Avenue Create #135-Anything Goes-Option Happy Birthday
Hi, friends! This week's challenge at 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes with a Happy Birthday option. Our sponsors are the Chubby Mermaid and Melonheadz Illustrations. I've used the Technology Pack from Melonheadz - the computer is such a cool image, don't you think?! Here's my card:
I colored the computer with my Spectrum Noirs. It's hard to tell, but it's popped up with foam tape. All papers are from my stash. The stars are leftover die cuts from a previous project. I used a Close to My Heart retired alpha set to create my sentiment and then cut it into a banner shape.

Summer Hello
Today I have a bright and sunny card that I had a lot of fun making. I used a technique I have been seeing all over card blogs lately - inlaying a die cut. It was so easy. I also made my own background paper using a Heidi Swapp stencil. I really love that Big Hello die from Simon Says Stamps. Here it is:
For the background I used Versa Magic Chalk Inks: Pink Grapefruit, Mango and Key Lime. I used some pink paper from my stash and cut the hello out twice, stacking them before inlaying the word. I also used a Memory Box Hearts & Stars die to cut 3 yellow hearts which I coated with CTMH'S Liquid Glass to make them shine. It's hard to see in the picture, but the 3rd heart is below the "h." Also, IRL the bottom portion of the panel is green - Key Lime. It looks yellowish here. I mounted everything on a gorgeous cantaloupe colored card base given to me by a friend. I love the sunny colors.
I'm entering these challenges: Virginia's View Challenge #5 - Use a Die; Moxie Fab World - Wonderful Words Challenge; Sister Act Card Challenge #64- Anything Goes; Brown Sugar Card Challenge #101 - Anything Goes.
I hope you had a fun filled 4th of July. Now enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Valentine for my Husband
Today I'm posting the valentine I made for my husband. (He doesn't look at my blog so it's ok for me to post it before I give it to him.) I think the black music notes and red twine on the heart make a bold and masculine statement.
The kraft card base is CTMH as are the red/blue DP (die cut) and sentiment. There is a stripe of washi tape behind the die cut heart. I lightly distressed the heart with brown ink. The music DP is from my stash as are the sequins and string. I actually popped up the sequins instead of gluing them flat. The sequins have Viva Pearl Pen in the center.
.
The sentiment inside is computer generated and says "You make my heart sing." I think my husband will like it.
I'm entering these challenges: Simons Says Wednesday Challenge - Get Krafty; Addicted to CAS #31 - Love; Casology- Bold.
I hope you have a great day. Our day in Georgia is finally looking good. We lost power 4 times between last night and this morning. I awoke to see snow falling at 8 am. By 1:00 pm, the sun was out, and the snow melting. Tomorrow should be even better :)

Die Cut Christmas Tree
Wow, I just realized that I need to post some more of the Christmas cards that I made. I used a friend's die to cut this beautiful and lacy tree. I used sticky dots to adhere it to a glitter paper background. The DP is from my stash. I didn't think it needed a sentiment on the outside. It was quick and easy, and I love it.
I'm entering these challenges: Mema's Crafts - Winter or Christmas or Holiday; Less is More - Week 151 - Choose a Previous Challenge as Your Theme - I used Week #146 - Use Designer Paper in a CAS Way; and Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge #156 - Last Minute Cards or Any Not Shown Already.
I hope you have a great weekend!

CAS at Jackson's Digital Expressions
Happy Tuesday! We have the CAS Team on display today at JDE using Robert's images and images from our sponsor, Bugaboo. Be sure to visit the site to see what the DT has made. You will love what you see! My first card uses Robert's Back to School image. I'll send this to my grandson!
Supplies: Cardstock: Marcos Paper; die cut: gift from a friend; Stamp: Hero Arts Anytime Messages; Ink: CTMH Black Dye Ink; Sharpies
I also made this card using Bugaboo's Stick Horse image - he's so cute!
Supplies: Cardstock: Marcos Paper; DP: CTMH, Recollections; Stamps: CTMH Celebrate the Everyday; Buttons: My stash; Sharpies.
I always smile when I read about how some folks struggle with making a Clean and Simple card - that's all I ever make. Not that mine are great examples of the CAS style - I simply don't know how to make any other kind!!
I will enter my cards in a few challenges as soon as I have time. Enjoy your day!
