613 Avenue Create-Anything Goes-CAS Option

Hi, there!  The option for this week's Anything Goes Challenge at 613 Avenue Create is my favorite style - CAS.  Our sponsor is Bugaboo - our winner will receive 7 images. Since for the life of me I don't seem to be able to create anything that isn't CAS, I really enjoyed seeing the CAS projects my teamies created.  These ladies are really versatile, believe me!

613 Avenue Create #47 - Anything Goes - Option Create Your Own Challenge

Our new challenge at 613 Avenue Create is a fun one - Create Your Own Challenge using this chart:

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.  I used the cute Christmas Cupcake - Presents.  Here's my card:  I used Image, Paper Punch, Stickles (& Liquid Pearls), Sequins and Ribbon

I did quite a bit of paper piecing on this card. The cupcake wrapper and the frosting are paper pieced as are the two red bows on the green frosting and the red gift on the right side.  The ribbon on the cupcake wrapper has Christmas Red Stickles as do the bows on the frosting.  The sequins have Liquid Pearls in the centers.  I used a Fiskars Corner Punch for the decorative corners.  It's hard to see, but I also used a Jelly Roll pen to ad a bit of sparkle to the frosting and the ribbons on the presents on the cupcake.  The sentiment is from CTMH.

I colored this cute little turkey using Martha Stewart Markers.  Everything is from my stash.  I sponged Distress Tea Dye Ink around the image while it was still in the Nestabilities Oval die.  The sentiment is CTMH.  I used Martha Stewart Baker's Twine.

613 Avenue Create Challenge 15: Sketch

Hello, everyone!  Our new challenge at 613 Avenue Create has a sketch twist - use it if you like, and we hope you do!  Here's the sketch by Kathi Silva and my card.

The image is Bugaboo's AKV Golf Cart - isn't it adorable?  This image and card are appropriate for a man or a boy, which means I could give it to my husband or my grandson, both avid golfers.  As is the norm now, everything is from my stash.  The sentiment is from Close to My Heart.

Good morning!  I'm part of a brand new challenge blog:  613 Avenue Create.  The theme this week is Anything Goes, and our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.  Click over and see what the DT has created.  Be sure to play along with us and please become a follower!  The winner will receive 7 Bugaboo images of his/her choice. Here's my CAS card:

I love this little soccer playing boy - I think he's adorable.  Both my sons were soccer players. My youngest still plays occasionally.  My grandson also plays soccer, so this card is for him.  Everything is from my stash.  I colored his little face, shoes and the ball.  I also added grass to the image.  I popped up the sentiment from The Paper Company Studio Soccer stamp. The image is Bugaboo's AKV simple stick - soccer.  I can see myself using this image on scap pages also.

JDE Color Challenge

It's Tuesday, so it's Challenge Time at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  Our Anything Goes Challenge Twist is a color challenge:  Lavender, Green, Tan and White.  I like this kind of challenge because I often struggle with color - this eliminates some of the stress. How do you feel about color challenges?
