613 Avenue Create #57-Anything Goes, Option Use Felt

Good day!  613 Avenue Create has a new challenge - Anything Goes with the option to USE FELT. There's a story behind the blue felt that I used for my card.  It was a left over scrap from the felt I used to create favors for my daughter-in-law's baby shower when she was pregnant with our one and only grandson.  I made sweet little blue pillows, edged with ribbon and with a cute little baby themed button in the center.  (I have one in with our Christmas decorations.)

I used the Digital Stamp Ice Blend image from our sponsor Milk Coffee.  I hand cut the felt heart. The image is colored with Bic markers and popped up. The card stock, sequins and Washi tape are from my stash. The heart stamp and sentiment are CTMH.  The ink is Memento. It's hard to see in the picture, but the heart on the image, the chocolate ice blend and straw have a coating of clear Wink of Stella. The cover of the cup has Martha Stewart glue glitter.

I'm coming back later to enter some challenges.  Check out 613 Avenue Create and have a great day!

  3. Hi Sheila, Mary from Carolina Cards told me about you and her meeting at the stamp convention, how fun!!! So I had to come and check out your blog! Glad you ladies hit it off too. I love your card, but what I really love is that felt you had left from the baby shower, how cool to use it on your card! Love it!! Hugs, Brenda

  4. Hi Sheila, when I enlarge the photo, I can indeed see the Stella Sparkle- especially on the coffee swirls. This is so adorable, and even more precious that you were able to use some sentimental felt on it. Love your washi tape trim too. I see my daughter Brenda skipped over to visit. It's lovely to get friends together! Told our meeting story on a scheduled post ...so everyone can hear about our meeting. Hope you got rested up today...I played catch up from Saturday's AWOL, and then took a nap. TFS & Hugs

  5. It's really interesting to see how we all found felt to use and how we chose to use it! Nicely done Sheila!

  6. Hi Again Sheila, Brenda is my 'adopted blog daughter'! My 'real life' daughter is in So. Fla, doesn't make cards or blog either! I met Brenda through blogging and decided I would just adopt her, as we seem so much alike!!! Just clearing up any confusion I may have caused. Hugs
