Hi, there, people! Our new challenge at 613 Avenue Create has the option of celebrating today - National Random Act of Kindness Day. We hope our projects will inspire you to create a project for someone who might not expect to receive it - your mail person, a grocery bagger, a neighbor...you get it! Here's my project:
I used Fitztown's Sports 15 - the athletic shoes are colored with pencils and Sharpies. The sentiment is from CTMH, the DP and sticker are from my stash. I thought the staples added to the masculine look. This is not strictly a card - it's a money holder, but it could also hold a note or a gift card. I distressed the sentiment tag and the edges of the holder. After fussy cutting the shoes, I outlined the edge with a black Sharpie.
I'm entering these challenges: CAS on Sunday #27 - Masculine; Less is More #159- Masculine.
Have a great day crafting!
Super masculine card!

This is a very clever way to achieve a marvelous masculine 'card' or gift holder. Some lucky young fella is going to smile all over himself when he gets this one. Love your outlining on the shoes too. You had a very steady hand! Liked the staples too...nice dimension. Good Job, Miss Sheila, and TFS & Hugs too.
ReplyDeletePerfect masculine card, glad the shoes aren't scented lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Less is More's masculine challenge this week

GREAT use of that shoe image! I love how you angled the sentiment with a staple! It sure adds a lovely fun element to the design!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this idea Shelia! And I love your card! The shoes are fabulous and I love the sentiment. The staples are a fabulous touch too! Hugs!
