613 Avenue Create Challenge 23-Anything Goes-Celebrations Option

Happy Day to you!  Our current challenge at 613 Avenue Create has the option of Celebrations. Just post your project honoring a celebratory time - should be great fun!  Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.  My friend and neighbor is retiring shortly - I used the Flower Jar image in making this card is for her:

I'm entering these challenges:  Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes; Crafting When We Can - Mad About Markers; and Mema's Crafts - Anything Goes.

The card stock is from my stash.  The DP from CTMH as is the Blush ink, DP and bling flowers.  I used Nestabilities Labels 18, and colored the image with Distress Markers and Sharpies.  Stop by 613 Avenue Create, check our last week's winners and post your project.  The DT has done a great job in providing inspiration.  Have a great week!

Create Your Own Challenge at 613 Avenue Create

Hi, there, everyone!  Today's challenge at 613 Avenue Create is, of course, Anything Goes, but we've added something a bit different.  There's a chart to Create Your Own Challenge.  You must use every column and as many items as listed at the top of the column.  The DT has done a masterful job in designing and creating inspiration - you absolutely must check it out.  Our sponsor is the fabulous Fred, She Said Designs.

Last week we even had some Honorable Mentions.  How cool is that?!  Let us see what you come up with - Happy Crafting!

613 Avenue Create Challenge #21 - Anything Goes

Good Morning!  We're having a challenge with no twists - just make whatever your heart desires and enter it - isn't that cool?!  Our sponsor is Meljen's Designs.  Here's my inspiration for you:

I used Meljen's sweet Birthday Cupcake image.  I used card stock from my stash, and colored the image with Sharpies and colored pencils.  I dusted the Nesties Scalloped Oval cut with lavender chalk, although it is hard to see.  I added sparkle with a Gelly Roll Stardust pen (also hard to see).  The bling is from Studio G, the sentiment is Fiskars, and the ink is Memento.

My inspiration for using this image is my friend Barb who is a first rate crafter.  Here's a link to her blog The Buzz, featuring her use of this image. Barb's coloring skills are boundless and so is her creativity. She is on the Meljen's design team.  I follow her blog and had to give her a shout :)

Hop over and visit 613 Avenue Create - the DT has some lovely inspiration for you.  We'd love to have you enter the new challenge.  And don't forget - you'll find out last week's winners.  Have a great day and a Happy Memorial Day weekend if you're in the U.S.

I'm entering these challenges:  Crazy 4 Challenges - no commercially made patterned paper; Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes; and Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog, Anything Goes - must have hand coloured image.

Birthday Card for my Husband

Hi, friends!  Today I have a card I made for my husband's birthday a few months ago and never posted.

The papers are from my stash.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but there is a bit of bling on each end of the ribbon that I colored with a Sharpie.  The sentiment is from Close to My Heart. The label punch is EK Success.

I'm entering this card in Addicted to CAS - Code Word: Birthday and The Perfect Sentiment - PSC80: Anything Goes.

Enjoy your day!
