This week's challenge at 613 Avenue Create is Anything Goes with the fun option of showing the Sights, Sounds and Tastes of Autumn. Our sponsors are Melonheadz Illustrations and Meljen's Designs. I used Meljen's Cinnamon Harvest Mug. My mug has mulled wine - such a yummy drink. Of course, I love spiced apple cider, too :) We're already seeing the leaves falling from the trees here in Georgia so Autumn is definitely on my mind.
I colored the image with a combination of Sharpies and Copics. I added some leaves from a Fiskars border punch. I used a decorative corner punch and lightly chalked the background. I covered the image with clear Wink of Stella. Glitter glue adds sparkle to the swirls of steam. The sentiment is Close to My Heart.
I'm entering these challenges: Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes; My Time to Craft #256 - Food & Drink; and The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers # 15- K is for Kraft.

613 Avenue Create Challenge #5 Anything Goes
We've got another Anything Goes Challenge at 613 Avenue Create. The optional theme is Love. Our wonderful sponsors are Sweet N Sassy and My Heart Pieces. The DT has worked hard to create some great inspiration. Here's my card using the Baby Sleeping image from Sweet N Sassy. I made this card for my sister to give to brand new grandson - he's her very first. I sent her a picture of the card, and I'm happy to say that she loved it, and told me she would love to give it to her grandson, my grandnephew. When he gets it, he'll feel the double love - from his Grandmommy and his Auntie La :)
I used stash items for everything. I colored the sweet image with a combination of Copics, Sharpies, Distress Markers and chalk. The ink is Memento Bahama Blue and the sentiment is CTMH (A Tulip).
You'll want to see our winners from Challenge #4 - you just might be one!

I'm entering my card in the following challenges: Make It Monday (Anything Goes), Tammy's Scrappin Corner (Anything Goes), One Stitch At A Time (Use a Digi), and Mema's Crafts (Anything Goes).
And don't forget that this is the last week of our month long challenge - make sure you enter!
I decided to use Robert Jackson's "Mrs." image. She's an old fashioned school teacher. My teachers in grade school did not look like her, but believe me, they channeled her mentality! I think I'll send her to my grandniece along with a back to school gift card. Here's my take on the sketch:

Jackson's Digital Expressions CAS Challenge: Family Matters
Hi, CAS is definitely my style. In fact, I seldom create anything that is not CAS because that's what comes to me naturally. When I didn't know what CAS was, I thought I just couldn't create "pretty" cards and layouts. After surfing the web endlessly, I discovered that my natural style was CAS - it had a name!! I still struggled for a while, trying to imitate other more ornate styles. Finally, I realized I have to do me. Here's my card:
I used Robert's "Cuddle" image. Have fun - enter our challenge! I can't wait to see what moves you. Go to Jackson's Digital Expressions and join in!
Here's what I used for my card: Copics E57 and E35, CTMH Dutch Blue ink, Tea Dye Distress Ink, CTMH Make My Day stamp; CTMH Kraft CS, Recollections pearls, Bic Mark-Its, Sharpies, stipple brush.
