July 613 Avenue Create - ATG/Create Your Own Designer Paper

It's July and time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create.  This time our optional theme is to create an ATG and/or your own designer paper.  I decided to create my own paper for a graduation card given to a friend's daughter. I have had the tiny grad hat stamp for years. I believe it was in the dollar bin at Michael's way back when.  But it has really come in handy over the years, believe me. Here's my fun card:

I used school colors - blue and silver.  I added some silver die cut stars to fill in some of the open spaces between the caps. The cap on the sentiment strip is from Lil Inkers and the congrats is from Altenew.  The numbers are from Close to My Heart. The sentiment strip is mounted on silver paper and popped up. A quick and easy card!

Card stock:  Recollections 110 lb and 65 lb
Inks:  Memento Blue Danube
Stamps:  Lil Inkers, Close to My Heart, Altenew, Unknown from Michael's
Die:  Memory Box Hearts and Stars

  2. Wow! What a fabulous grad card Sheila! I love your background you made with the grad hats, looks like pattern paper! I also love the way you did you sentiment strip, well done! I think this is the best grad card I've seen this year! Hugs, Brenda
