Hello! I have all my Easter cards made with the exception of one for my husband. Today I'm posting the card we'll send to our grandson. He's a teen, so it's getting harder and harder to come up with cards for him, if you know what I mean. He doesn't look at my blog, so it's ok to post the card before it's mailed. And even if he did find out about the card, we all know he's more interested in what's inside than he's interested in the card itself - LOL! Here's what I made:
I think this bunny egg looks cool with his sun glasses - don't you? I created the background paper and cut it with a stitched die. The bunny egg was colored with Spectrum Noir markers after I stamped it and cut it out. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the glasses, but I had to resize the lens on the right side and cut off the ear pieces in order to fit the glasses to the bunny. The lens have a coating of Clear Wink of Stella. I added a sentiment on a hand cut banner and some washi tape.
I have to add that this is the first time I ever used my Concord and 9th Turnabout stamp to make a background and I LOVE IT!!
I'm really pleased with how this turned out. BTW, the egg stamp was a gift from my blog buddy
Darnell when she gifted me with a box of stamps and dies she purged from her collection. Thanks again so much, Darnell!

This Wabbit Dude is cool, man! I love what you did with the sunglasses, as it really adds character to the bunny. Also loving your turnabout. I have one of those and haven't tried it yet! Lucky you to be Darnell's gift recipient! You've made great use of her stash! I love that bloggers do that! Happy Easter, and of course he will love the card, but more so the green inside!!!
