Today's post is a card I made for my youngest son's birthday. He loves music. As usual, I made him a clean and simple card with no stamping on the card front. I think it has a nice masculine feel to it.
The background is a musical note embossing folder. The key board is a die I borrowed from a friend so I'm not sure of the name, but I do know she purchased it from Create and Craft online. I cut it in black and white and overlaid the pieces. The sentiment is a die that I've had for a while, and I'm unsure of the name.

Love this card Sheila!!! It really does have a masculine feel to it and works beautifully for a guy card. Love that keyboard die, such a unique die! The embossed background works perfectly with this die and love your happy birthday die as well. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a masculine card! I am sure your son loves it - I do, too! Thanks for playing with us at HLS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic card! I really love how you personalized it for your youngest son and his preferences. Yet it is still the perfect mix of sophistication and whimsy! I love how the background embossing matches the keyboard and I like that it's a masculine card, which I am always struggling to create! You did a beautiful job on this piece and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! Love how you used the music notes background with the keyboard die. It's perfect together! I'm sure your son loves it!
