The card is for a line dancing friend who is not feeling well. Our group will send it to her. I used the sketch #19 from Stamplorations so I'm entering that challenge also.
Here's my card using this NBUS: Memory Box Border Trellis die and the carnation stamp from Hero Arts Blossom Etchings stamp set. The background paper is from CTMH and I've had it for probably a couple of years.
Non NBUS items: I inked the blossom with Hero Arts Orange Soda Shadow Ink; I used my Peeled Paint Distress Marker for the stem. The bow is a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is inked with CTMH Chocolate. All cardstock is from my stash.
I'm also entering the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Rubber or Clear Stamps - No Digis. I hope you have a happy day crafting!

What a beautiful "thinking of you" card Sheila! I love that Memory box die and it is one I have as well from Momma Mary. Plus I have a ton of NBUS too so I too want to enter the challenge Darnell has going on. This is a fabulous card to enter! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful card, Sheila. I don't think I've ever seen that lattice die before and I love how it makes a unique panel which is just perfect for your beautiful carnation and bow! Great use of that long-hoarded background paper, too! Thank you for playing in my second NBUS Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteOh what a delight to see you used that NBUS! How perfect it was on this pretty card, love the delicacy of the colors and that die was beautiful against that soft pink background. Good for you on entering this one in the NBUS! WTGo. TFS & hope you're having a good week, and enjoying some of this cooler weather. We are. Hugs
