Musical Birthday Card

Today's post is a card I made for my youngest son's birthday. He loves music.  As usual,  I made him a clean and simple card with no stamping on the card front. I think it has a nice masculine feel to it.

The background is a musical note embossing folder. The key board is a die I borrowed from a friend so I'm not sure of the name, but I do know she purchased it from Create and Craft online.  I cut it in black and white and overlaid the pieces. The sentiment is a die that I've had for a while, and I'm unsure of the name.

Card stock:  Recollections
Die Cuts:  Unknown
Embossing Folder:  Sixxix

  6. What a fantastic card! I really love how you personalized it for your youngest son and his preferences. Yet it is still the perfect mix of sophistication and whimsy! I love how the background embossing matches the keyboard and I like that it's a masculine card, which I am always struggling to create! You did a beautiful job on this piece and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
