613 Avenue Create #175-Anything Goes-Option Use a Die Cut with Your Sentiment

Hello, Friends!  In addition to Anything Goes, we have the option to use dies to frame/highlight our sentiments this week at 613 Avenue Create.  Our wonderful sponsor is Kitty Bee Designs. The DT has prepared some great eye candy for your inspiration. I used the image Kwaii Owl Buddies on my card. Just look at the owls - aren't they too cute? I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers (CR1, LY 1 &2, CT 1 &4, LG1 & 5, JG2, BT1, DG3 and TN7). The DP is from my stash as is the card stock. The stars are Theresa Collins, the border is K & Company,  and the branch (stamped in white and colored with Spectrum Noirs) is from Stamping Up. I cut out the image and the sentiment using Oval Nestabilities and dusted the ovals with light blue chalk. The sentiment is from an unknown company, purchased many years ago.

I'm entering these challenges:  Crafting with Friends #20 - Anything Goes; Quick Quotes #63 - Things with Wings; and Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - May.

Be sure to visit 613 Avenue Create to post your entry, get some inspiration and check out last week's winners. We love it when you drop by!

613 Avenue Create #173-Anything Goes-Option Use Orange & Blue Plus Two

Welcome to another challenge at 613 Avenue Create!  This time our Anything Goes theme has the option to add Orange & Blue, plus two neutral colors. This was a real challenge for me, but I had fun with it. Our sponsor is AliciaBel. I used a darling image - Curious Fairy.

Everything is from my stash. I used a ton of Spectrum Noir markers for coloring. I cut the image with a scalloped circle die and added some star die cuts. I put a rhinestone at the center of the starburst on my DP. The sentiment is CTMH.

I will come back to enter some challenges as I'm posting this late Sunday night. I spent the day dancing!

My Confession

I have a confession to make. I am not a fan of  butterflies. One got in our house when I was a little girl, and it scared me silly. I have never really liked them since. I know most folks like butterflies, and crafters use them a lot. I only use them when making a card or project for someone I know who really likes butterflies. I made this card a few months ago for a friend that we call "Butterfly" because of her love for them. She had a death in the family so I made this card for her:

The die cut is from a Cricut cartridge, and while I believe it was a Close to My Heart Cricut cartridge, I don't remember which one. The sentiment is CTMH also. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. The cardstock and sequins are from my stash.

I'm entering the following challenges:  Simon Says Monday Challenge - Butterfly Beauty;  Stamping Royalty #326 - Butterflies; Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes.

I hope you like my butterfly card - my friend did. And please forgive me for not being a butterfly fan...

613 Avenue Create #172-Anything Goes

Hi, there!  This week's challenge at 613 Avenue Create is straight Anything Goes. But since April 22 is Earth Day, we'd like it if you'd use some recycled material in your creation. Why don't you give it a try?  Our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine. You'll want to see what the DT has created and see who won our last challenge so click over to the blog. Happy Crafting!!

613 Avenue Create#171-Anything Goes-Option Masculine Card

I have another grandson card for this week's 613 Avenue Create Challenge: Anything Goes with the option to create a masculine card.  Our sponsor is Sami Stamps. My grandson will enter high school in the fall - I can hardly believe it. So I made this card to send to him when he begins 9th grade. The image is Back to School Apple:

I colored the fun image with my Spectrum Noir markers:  CT1, 3 & 4, EB2, PP2, 3 & 4, and BP2. The book background paper is retired from CTMH; I cut the image with a circle Nestie after coloring.  The sentiment comes from two CTMH retired stamp sets.  I added die cut stars after dusting the die cut with chalk. All papers are from my stash as is the baker's twine.

I am entering these challenges:  AAA Cards #62 - Anything Goes; Brown Sugar Challenge #193 - Anything Goes; and Crafting with Friends #18 - Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
