Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #330 - Baby

Hi, Crafty Friends!  We're back with another fun challenge at Fantabulous Cricult Challenge Blog. This time our theme is Baby.  I decided to pay homage to my childhood. Back then, a lot of babies had Sock Monkeys.  I was delighted to find this darling Cricut image. Sock Monkeys are still around, although they are not as popular as in the "olden days" if you know what I mean - LOL!  Still, it's a delightful toy for any baby, boy or girl.  Here's my card:

After cutting out the monkey, I inked up a stencil and created the dotted background.  I assembled the cute little money and balanced him atop some baker's twine. Then I just rounded two corners and added a sentiment.  I just love this card.

July 613 Avenue Create - ATG/Create Your Own Designer Paper

It's July and time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create.  This time our optional theme is to create an ATG and/or your own designer paper.  I decided to create my own paper for a graduation card given to a friend's daughter. I have had the tiny grad hat stamp for years. I believe it was in the dollar bin at Michael's way back when.  But it has really come in handy over the years, believe me. Here's my fun card:

I used school colors - blue and silver.  I added some silver die cut stars to fill in some of the open spaces between the caps. The cap on the sentiment strip is from Lil Inkers and the congrats is from Altenew.  The numbers are from Close to My Heart. The sentiment strip is mounted on silver paper and popped up. A quick and easy card!

Card stock:  Recollections 110 lb and 65 lb
Inks:  Memento Blue Danube
Stamps:  Lil Inkers, Close to My Heart, Altenew, Unknown from Michael's
Die:  Memory Box Hearts and Stars
