Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #318 - Snow

Welcome to the new challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  Our theme is snow.  Just last week, we had snow in the South where I live.  We stayed in for two days - cozy and warm in the freezing weather.  When we've had snow here, my husband has gone out and made a snowman.  I never have - LOL!  I made my card in honor of the snowmen my hubby has made.

I inked my background using Distress Inks, and then sprayed the background with water. The snowman and snow flakes have a coating of Clear Wink of Stella, though it's hard to see in the picture.  It's a simple card, but kinda cute, I think.  I will add a sentiment later when I decided to whom I will send it.

  4. I think it's really cute too! Love the pop of his red clothing against the nice denim background. Good work with the water spots...that's something I don't get right most of the time. It's a really cute Snowie, and I like how you added the snowflakes. Good for Mr at braving the cold to make a snowman! Hope you took some pictures! TFS & Hugs. Stay warm.

  8. Your hubby-inspired snowman is just adorable, Sheila! It's been such a cold winter for so many that a lot of humans and snowmen had their hats down over their faces! Now, listen, next time you get snow, bundle up and get out there and make a snowman with your man!! Life is too short!! Hugs, Darnell
