Christmas is in two days! I managed to get all my Christmas cards done. I usually don't follow trends in terms of new stamps, but something about all the plaids I'm seeing really made me want a plaid stamp. I am so glad I purchased it. I can see myself using it a lot. Here's my card:
It's hard to tell in the picture, but the tree is spritzed with a shimmer mist. It looks really pretty in real life. I embossed the background, mounted the embossed panel on a white card base, and added a die cut star and sentiment.
Card stock: Recollections 60 lb and 110 lb
Stamp: Concord & 9th Plaid Background
Embossing Folder: Tim Holtz Alterations Snowflakes
Bling: Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix
Star and Sentiment: Snippets from other projects (in my stash of die cuts)
Shimmer Mist: Tattered Lace Pearl
Challenges:
CAS on Friday - #123 Christmas
DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge - #218 Christmas
The Merry Christmas Challenge - #48 -Anything Goes + Christmas

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Sheila. Love the Christmas tree. Thank you for joining us at CAS on Friday and hope to see you in 2018 again. Luv, Wilma
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent way to use that plaid stamp! I've seen it around in Blogland, and I think this might just be my favorite way to have used it. Really made this tree shape stand out so pretty against the snowflake embossing. It's just gorgeous! TFS & Happy New Year. Hope your holidays were pleasant. Hugs
