Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog #304-Patriotism

Welcome to another challenge at FFCB.  Our theme this time is Patriotism.  We want to see your project about patriotism in any country.  Our design team has been hard at work, creating some delightful inspiration for you.

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here's my project:

I used my Cricut Expression to cut the balloons in red, white and blue.  They are popped up with foam tape and have a coating of clear Wink of Stella which is sort of visible in this picture.  I love the curly tails on the balloons.  The blue looks a bit purple in this photo, I have to say, but it is blue.

It reminds me of the 4th of July, of course. This is a quick and easy just for fun card, no stamping involved -  just DP and Cricut cuts. Sometimes, that's all you need!

Card Stock:  Recollections 110 lb and 60 lb
Designer Paper:  My stash
Cricut Cartridge:  Celebrate with Flourish
Accessories:  Foam tape, Wink of Stella (clear)

Challenges:
Dragonfly Journeys #95-Red, White & Blue-tiful
Crazy Girlz Challenges-June Anything Goes option Masculine
Creatalicious Challenges #117-Anything Goes option Die Cuts/Punches

  3. What a cool July birthday card, Sheila! I love those curly-cue strings, too, and the joy of making cards nowadays with only die cuts! Brilliant! Don't know how we made anything halfway decent with our simple skizzors back in the "old-timey" days, haha! Hugs, Darnell

    1. You make me laugh, Darnell. I was never much good with the fancy skissors - could never line them up correctly for a long cut!!
